Icelandic Hafsteinn Júlíusson claims that his new zero calorie snack is an alternative to regular crisps offering an experience like “eating tasty air”. Made out of edible, non-toxic paper the ‘Slim Chips’ come in peppermint, blueberry and sweet potato flavours.

The packaging caught my eye at first, initially thinking the product was a bag of lettuce. The transparent plastic packaging reflects the simple, weightless but ultimately unsatisfying product that it contains.
The whole concept seemed interesting and has recently been circuling around the ‘geek world’, being touted as a slimming solution for those who like to lounge infront of a console shovelling potato based snacks!
