WhatTheFont

WhatTheFont is very useful. Seen a typeface that you like somewhere? Just grab a screenshot/image of it, upload it, and the clever little blighter will pick out each individual letter from the image and attempt to match it up with its extensive list of known typefaces.

Seen a font but don’t know what it is? Don’t sit cycling through your font library in photoshop…

Okay, so admittedly I may be a bit slow to the party with this, but since I am resurrecting this blog and used this very handy website while working today, I figured it would be a fitting starting point!

I’ve used this little tool numerous times in recent months and have yet to faze it. The site will even offer you places to download the typeface freely or premium, depending.

I would strongly recommend bookmarking this tool, if you haven’t already: http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
